Hetty the Horse box & Talula offer a unique break in a wonderful setting on our private stretch of the river Camb. Set in the grounds of Chapel Farm where there are a variety of farm animals including alpacas, donkeys, Pygmy goats, sheep, ponies, chickens, ducks & Peacocks.
A 15 minute river side walk will get you the the local pub or a few minutes drive.

The perfect retreat
Feeling burnout and tired after the past years events ,we watched as our belongings were loaded by the owners son, Jack, in to “Mule” ( a motorised truck) who we followed along the grass lane with owner, Emma who has a cheerful and “nothing is to much trouble “personality, made up feel at home
As we walked along the quietness and wildness washed over us. It was an amazing feeling. Total peace
We saw dragonflies, butterflies, bees, wild flowers and willow trees (think wind in the willows) then we had our first glimpse of HETTY and our bathroom, the rattan seating area, under an old tree, the huge open space with table and chairs over looking the river. We were so excited.
Hetty the horse box interior is vintage /country with horse shoes and horse bits made in to curtain ties, hooks and saddle racks. Complemented by white ceramic sink, solid wood work tops and shelves. Mains electricity , running water, fridge, all finished to a high standard. A “whistling kettle” which I loved.
The bed was so comfortable we slept like logs.
Lots of walks ,fresh air, BBQs watching the ducks and swans and a pub near by HEAVEN
Oh! Did I mention the fairy ring……
